Local Government Partners with Health Authority - Applying a Health Lens to their Offical Community Plan

[Regarding community-led health initiatives] I mean the big one is our partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health on our Official Community Plan. So we put a health lens across our Official Community Plan, which is the first time that our community has done that. So recognizing the built environment and its impact on the determinants of health. So that became a very important transition for our community in developing that. That was approved last summer. We have an ongoing collaboration with them, and focus on specific areas where we believe we can work together with the health authority to impact public health stats on a number of issues. So I think that is one very important one.
